Our Preschool Program is designed to encourage intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical development, according to the philosophy and objectives already in use at St. Christine Elementary School. 

Our Preschool provides a safe and trusting atmosphere for all children. Growth and development flourish as each child is encouraged to explore new surroundings and develop creative expression. Through curiosity, free play, and new learning activities, a child’s self esteem and self confidence are promoted, and social and language shills are developed. 

In an atmosphere of Christian love, each child is treated in a respectful manner by the teachers and staff members, and is encouraged to respect the rights of others by treating each other in a gentle way, and to accept the needs of others through cooperative play, with emphasis on good manners and sharing.

The Preschool includes separate programs for three year olds, and four year olds, housed in Seton Center, the former convent for the Daughters of Charity. The calendar year runs from early September through the end of May.  The staff includes one certified teacher and four assistants. All are accredited by the Ohio Department of Education.

Enrollment in our Preschool is open to any child, whether members of the parish or not, and regardless of race or religion. Children can be enrolled for a full or half day session, according to the Preschool program. There is a $60.00 Registration Fee, which includes supplies and materials.
