The hospitality of the worshipping community is extended to the parish through the Ushers and Greeters.

This year, we are trying to involve the entire family in our ministry of hospitality.

Ushers exercise the important ministry of hospitality, extending a welcome to the members of the worshipping assembly, and assisting anyone with any special needs or any emergency. 

Ushers assist persons in finding a place to sit, if necessary. And they gather the offerings of the assembly and assist persons in presenting them to the priest at the offertory. 

Men and women of the parish are welcome to be ushers. In exercising the role of usher, one is expected to be  dressed appropriately, to be pleasant and courteous, and to set an example of prayerful participation during the liturgical celebration.

The Hospitality Ministry greets the parish community and visitors at one mass each weekend.  We provide a spirit of welcome and warmth. 

This ministry meets quarterly for a short half hour to discuss any concerns and to introduce any new greeters.
